Our Leaders
EcoPsych started when Sadhika, an aspiring psychologist, noticed that most environmental solutions such as joining clean-ups or protests were not working. And thus Sadhika asked her friend, Nghia, an aspiring environmental scientist, to bring their passions together and start EcoPsych. In November 2024, the team participated in the ‘ReThink Plastic Challenge’ in HCMC and won a 10 million VND grant. This gave them the passion to start pursuing EcoPsych seriously and expand it to schools all over!
Since then, EcoPsych has grown into a long-term movement focused on changing environmental habits and shifting community mindsets. Our work is grounded in behavioral psychology and nudge theory, aiming to make sustainable choices the easy, default option.
With a collaborative and interdisciplinary structure, our team includes departments in communications, content, design, events, finance, psychology, and sustainability. Together, we work to support both behavioral shifts in students and policy changes in school management, ultimately striving to make environmental conservation more accessible in the daily lives of Vietnamese students.

Howdy! I am Sadhika, a high school senior at AIS. I am originally from India but have been living in Vietnam for the past 6 years. I am an aspiring psychologist but also an avid environmentalist which is why I took the initiative of founding EcoPsych. Beyond EcoPsych, you can find me obsessing over TEDx talks, reading research papers and religiously analysing song lyrics.

Hey! I’m Minkyu, a senior at Reigate Grammar School Vietnam. I’m Korean, but since I was 7, I’ve lived in Hanoi, a city that now feels like home. Living here for nearly a decade, I’ve become aware of the environmental issues Vietnam faces, especially pollution. That’s why I started a recycling system at my school and now feel ready to take a bigger step by joining EcoPsych.

I’m Charlotte, a Vietnamese student from AIS Saigon who enjoys coffee, street sketching, and photography every time I can. Doanh Doanh Ho
Head of Events
Hii! I am Suri, a high school senior at AIS and a proud Saigon citizen. I love this city - from the buzz of motorbikes to its scrumptious bạc xĩu. My little secret is that I don't have a set path for the future, but it’s a blessing in disguise as I find myself exploring everything and anything - including this amazing EcoPsych team!

Ngoc Lam Le Hoang
Website Lead
Hi! I'm Lam, a Year 13 student at RGSV. I’ve lived in Vietnam most of my life and love it here. I wish I could enjoy more walks outside, but Hanoi’s air quality is a challenge. That’s why I joined EcoPsych as Website Lead, contributing to a sustainability project. I have many hobbies: dancing hip-hop, making homemade pasta, playing sports with friends, and listening to music while doing almost anything.
